Terms of Service

Last updated: August 31, 2026 · These terms are between you and BigTopa, LLC ("BigTopa").

These terms govern access to and use of the BigTopa platform and the product lines built on it. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you're agreeing on behalf of an organization, you represent that you're authorized to bind that organization.

The service

BigTopa provides a unified engagement platform — adaptive spaces for community, chat, events, communications, and monetization — delivered directly and through product lines including GreekHouse, GatherAgain, and AlumniHub. Features available to you depend on your product line, subscription tier, and configuration. A product line may add its own terms; where it does, those terms apply to that product line in addition to these.

Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be responsible for activity under your account. You must be of legal age to form a binding contract. Organizations are responsible for the conduct of their administrators, team members, and audiences on the platform.

Acceptable use

• Don't use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activity, including deceptive fundraising or sales.
• Don't misrepresent your organization, what a payment covers, or how funds will be used.
• Don't upload unlawful, infringing, harassing, or harmful content, or violate others' privacy.
• Don't send communications to people without a lawful basis for contacting them.
• Don't disrupt, reverse-engineer, resell, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.

Your organization's space

Each organization controls its own space, data, and configuration, and is responsible for the content it publishes, the audiences it builds, and the lawful handling of the personal data it manages. Where a product line offers a connection between two organizations, that connection requires opt-in consent from both sides, and each side is responsible for what it chooses to share and may end the connection at any time.

Payments, fees & payouts

Payments are processed by Stripe and other providers, subject to their terms. Organizations are responsible for the tax treatment, receipting, and disbursement of funds they collect, and for their own entity and tax status. Subscription fees, platform and processing fees, and any revenue share are described in your order or at pricing and are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated. Payouts are subject to verification and to any holds required by our payment providers or by law.

Beta & early access

Features marked beta, preview, or early access are provided for evaluation, may change or be withdrawn, and may not carry the same availability or support commitments as generally available features.

Intellectual property

BigTopa, its product lines, and its software are owned by BigTopa, LLC and its licensors. You retain ownership of the content you upload, and grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the service. Your organization's names and marks remain yours.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee engagement, growth, or revenue results. Responses from our plan assistant, Fitz, are informational and are not advice or a binding offer.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BigTopa will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost funds, data, revenue, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, non-payment, or to protect the service or its users. On termination, organizations may export their data subject to applicable law and record-keeping requirements.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "last updated" date; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Castle County, Delaware, unless otherwise required by law.
